Hey, I'm

Clancy Dennis

I'm the one who

I'm endlessly curious about how people work — the lungs, the habits, the messy human bits — and stubborn enough to keep building until the technology actually fits them. That curiosity has dragged me from Sydney to France to a Bavarian mountain village to California, and it is why I still get a kick out of shipping something on a Sunday just to see if it flies.

These days I build AI at Stanford Healthcare. The rest of the time I make things — worms lobbing artillery at language models, a ukulele game that tricks you into practising, a small family of agents called Otto — and run experiments on gluten-free bread in between. It's all the same instinct: poke at it, measure it, make it better.

Scaling Intelligence

What I do at Stanford Healthcare: getting generative AI into a hospital safely, and the deterministic algorithms that taught me how.

LLMs in Healthcare: Automating Clinical Workflows

Senior Data Engineer @ Stanford Healthcare

Large Language Models are transforming healthcare by automating documentation, enabling natural language interfaces to clinical data, and reducing physician burnout. I architect production-grade LLM systems that bring generative AI safely into hospital environments—from AI scribes that auto-generate clinical notes to intelligent EHR assistants that let clinicians query patient records conversationally.

ChatEHR: Medical Chatbot

Privacy-preserving GenAI platform embedded in Epic EHR. Clinicians query patient records via natural language, reducing chart review time.

AI Scribes & Automated Notes

Real-time transcription systems that generate SOAP notes, treatment plans, and clinical summaries—freeing physicians to focus on patient care.

Workflow Automation

LLM-powered pipelines for prior authorizations, referral letters, patient communication, and administrative task automation.

Edge AI & Embedded Systems

aRVi — RV AI Kiosk

A touch-first Rust and Tauri control system that runs an off-grid RV from a single Orange Pi RK3588. One kiosk surfaces battery management, solar charge control, vehicle diagnostics, GPS, LTE messaging, and live camera feeds—with a voice-driven on-board assistant that can switch real loads through relay channels guarded by hard interlocks in Rust.

Built to survive being unattended: six independent recovery layers, from webview restart through the SoC hardware watchdog, plus fail-safe actuation rules that refuse heavy loads when battery state-of-charge is low, unknown, or stale.
